Meet the Family Behind the Pink Sloth
We’re a family of four — plus Kuna, our loyal adventure pup — who set off across Canada (and beyond!) in our self-converted pink bus, chasing a slower, more intentional way of living.
We’re from Sutton, Quebec — a small ski town just over an hour from Montreal — where we spent years building eco-friendly homes and running a construction company rooted in sustainability. But somewhere along the way, we realized our girls were growing up way too fast… and life wasn’t going to hit the pause button for us.
So in April 2025, we hit the road.
First west to the coast of beautiful British Columbia, then all the way up to Alaska, through wild places, rainy forests, ferry crossings, WWOOFing farms, mountain passes, and plenty of campfire dinners. We lived out of our pink minibus for nearly four months, drove over 21,000 km, and discovered a whole new rhythm as a family.
The Pink Sloth — our cozy, quirky, homemade bus — became more than just a vehicle. It became a reminder of everything we were craving: less rush, more presence, more time outside, and the kind of connection that only comes when the Wi-Fi is out of range.
We’re home again in Sutton now, slowly unpacking the experience and settling back into life with new eyes. The blog is still catching up — we haven’t posted everything yet because, honestly, we were too busy living it. But the stories are coming: from the May long weekend on Vancouver Island, to Elysium Lake Farm, to our time in and through Alaska.
We’re also putting together a post about how we converted our big pink bus — from rusty beginnings to rolling home — so if you’re curious about the build, that’s coming soon too!
If you’ve been waiting for a sign to chase your dream, wander a little farther, or shake things up — maybe this is it. 💛🌲🚐
